Two words to describe this park..Food and Characters! I think this park is underestimated and while Magic Kingdom has a reputation for being only for kids, Epcot too has been misrepresented as a park that is only for adults. I fully admit, I was one of those people once! However, this park has had soo many updates and has soo much to offer! Disney has created a way for you to see places you’ve always wanted to visit and experience..and made them kid friendly! Ok, maybe it isn’t exactly the same as going to Paris..but how cool that you take a family photo by the Eiffel Tower and eat real french food..and then get to meet Belle and Aurora! We have done trips where the focus was meeting princesses..and I automatically thought that meant Magic Kingdom. Boy was I wrong! There are a ton of characters and princesses at Epcot..including the only place you can meet and greet Anna and Elsa!

This park takes you on a tour around the world and allows you experience different cuisines, cultures and experiences from Canada, UK, France, Morocco, Japan, U.S, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, Mexico! Plus, Epcot has different festivals going on all year that are included in your regular park ticket.

  • Art Festval Jan-Feb
  • Flower and Garden Festival March-early July
  • Food and Wine Festival August-mid November
  • Holiday Festival mid November-end of the year

Over the years, they have added more rides to make this park appeal more the the thrill seeker. To this day, Epcot has the only ride that I have ever been sick after..and I love thrill rides! Mission Space is a ride that allows you to feel the G-Force experienced when blasting off into outer space! Safe to say I won’t be signing up for a Nasa mission anytime soon! Not to worry, you can still experience this ride without the G-force, there are two lines to choose from (extreme and tame).

The excitement doesn’t end there..Epcot is excepting some exciting new rides and experiences to open in 2021! An extension in France will include a Ratatouille ride as well as a restaurant! Gardians Of The Galaxy will also be debuting at Epcot this year as a family friendly coaster! There will be a new restaurant experience that makes you feel like you are dining on the international space station! And last but not least..guests will finally get to experience the new night time show “Harmonious”..witch is described as Disneys biggest nighttime in history!

Overall, this is a great park to take your time walking around and enjoy all the street performers, food and interactions. I would recommend hitting up the rides first as the lines can get long..but this park has a lot to offer, you won’t be disappointed!
